We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of intelligent hardware products spanning handheld devices, large-scale industrial systems, and everything in between. Our work sits at the intersection of nanotechnology, agriculture, and consumer wellness, and the electrical systems you design will power innovations across all of them.
You’ll take full ownership of the electrical stack—from schematic capture and PCB layout to system-level architecture and controls—while collaborating tightly with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams. Your projects may include low-power IoT PCBs, sensor-driven control systems, or robust power modules that scale from prototype to production.
A key part of your role will be working closely with manufacturing partners to ensure our designs scale reliably and efficiently. You’ll build strong vendor relationships, guide DFM decisions, and help bridge the gap between engineering intent and production execution.
If you’re excited to design smart, scalable systems that operate in the real world—and can shift comfortably between breadboard and BOM—we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and develop IoT-enabled hardware systems, including embedded controllers, sensors, and wireless modules (BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Design control systems and power electronics for industrial electro-mechanical platforms
- Develop low-power PCBs, power modules, and battery interfaces for compact, user-facing devices
- Build, bring up, and debug early prototypes using hands-on lab tools
- Lead schematic design, PCB layout (or oversight), BOM management, and DFM reviews
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, firmware, and product design
- Build and maintain close working relationships with vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and timely scaling of in-house designs
- Support field troubleshooting and continuously feed insights back into the design cycle
- Maintain clean technical documentation including schematics, layouts, assembly/testing guides, and design rationales
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience designing and shipping embedded hardware products
- Proficiency in English and Chinese
- Strong background in analog and digital circuit design
- Expertise with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence, etc.)
- Experience with wireless connectivity (BLE, Wi-Fi) and IoT system integration
- Demonstrated ability to design control systems for motorized, sensor-driven industrial equipment
- Hands-on prototyping and debugging skills—oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, soldering, etc.
- Familiarity with embedded firmware (C) or Python scripting for test automation and validation
- Clear communicator with strong documentation and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Experience working directly with manufacturers to scale and support production builds
Nice to Have
- Experience with power management, battery systems, and energy optimization
- Exposure to reliability, compliance, or environmental testing
- Familiarity with PLM systems and structured release processes
- Industrial design collaboration—awareness of physical ergonomics and aesthetics
Location
This role requires regular on-site work, so candidates should be comfortable commuting to our Neihu, Taipei City location.
Benefits
The salary for this role will be determined based on a range of factors, including (but not limited to) work experience, education, relevant training, critical skills, and overall business needs. Time off and holiday entitlements follow standard Taiwanese labor laws. Sick leave is flexible.
